Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker in Nigeria, has issued a warning ahead of the upcoming general elections, stating that choosing the wrong candidate would send the nation into another four years of darkness.
Sani urged Nigerians to choose a capable leader by following their conscience and experience.
He made this claim in a post on Tuesday using his verified Twitter account.

Sani, a social critic as well, pleaded with Nigerians not to be misled by religious authorities.
“This nation has a meeting with history on Saturday. Don’t cast your ballot for a candidate just because your churches or mosques urged you to. Pick a capable leader by following your conscience and experience. “A wrong decision means another four years of darkness,” he tweeted.
