President Of U.S Announced Closure Of Airspace To Russian Planes

In response to Russia’s escalating military activities in Ukraine, US President Joe Biden has stated that the US will block its airspace to all Russian jets.

Biden made the announcement before a joint session of Congress while delivering his first State of the Union address as president.

“Tonight, I’m announcing that we’ll join our partners in cutting off American airspace to all Russian flights,” he stated.

The Russian aviation authority, on the other hand, announced on Monday that airlines from 36 countries, including the EU’s 27 members, will be barred from using the country’s airspace.

In his remarks, Biden stressed that US military are not and will not be involved in the fight in Ukraine with Russian forces.
