Japan recovers second body from crashed F-15

The body of the second crew member of a fighter jet that crashed two weeks ago was recovered by the Japanese military on Monday.

On January 31, a two-seater F-15 from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force crashed in waters off the coast of central Ishikawa during a training mission.

On Friday, the Japanese navy recovered the body of the other pilot.

On Sunday, a naval search team discovered the body of the second pilot. His identity was confirmed by the air force, but it was not made public.

Soon after taking off for training from Komatsu air base, the F-15 vanished from radar.
