Tinubu faults Buhari, Jonathan for farmers, herders crisis

The recurrent farmers/herders conflict in Nigeria has been attributed to his predecessors, according to President Bola Tinubu.

At the inauguration of a presidential commission tasked with reforming the livestock sector and finding long-term solutions to recurrent conflicts between herders and farmers, Tinubu made this statement on Thursday in Abuja.

After the National Conference on Livestock Reforms and Mitigation of Associated Conflicts in Nigeria submitted its report, the committee was formed.

“This crisis has persisted not because of herders and farmers,” Tinubu stated during the occasion. The failure of the leadership to find quick fixes for their issues is to blame. In order to be a leader, you must think and act.
