The Indigenous People of Biafra, also known as IPOB, have expressed their disagreement with the decision to honour President Muhammadu Buhari with the naming of the Second Niger Bridge.

IPOB argued that the second Niger Bridge ought to be named after a distinguished Igbo individual rather than after Buhari.

You may recall that the governors of the Southeast came to an agreement that, once the project was completed, the bridge would be named after Buhari.

However, the spokesperson for IPOB, Emma Powerful, stated that it is an embarrassment that the bridge was named after Buhari because he does not have any concern for Igbos.

The following is an excerpt from a statement that was released by Powerful: “The attention of the global Family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU has been drawn to the shameful naming of the second Niger Bridge after General Muhammadu Buhari by the shameless Igbo politicians.”

Because he did not have any respect or regard for Ndigbo and is aware that he does not deserve any plaudits in Biafra land, the man who the second Niger bridge is named after did not even bother to show up for the inauguration ceremony. “The man who the bridge is named after did not respect or regard Ndigbo.”

“The sellout among the South Eastern Governors, in particular APC Governors who are the useless idiots of the caliphate, want the genocidist and a hater of Ndigbo, Muhammadu Buhari, to become the face of the Eastern Region as they display the face and name of a terrorist sponsorer at the entry and exit point of South East through the bridge. This is the same thing that they want to do with the Eastern Region.

“Muhammadu Buhari was among the Nigerian genocidist soldiers who massacred Ndigbo at Asaba, Anambra, and Enugu, as well as throughout the rest of the Eastern region. ”

“His government coordinated the influx of Fulani terrorists masquerading as herdsmen who have massacred our people and raped our women. These Fulani terrorists are known as herdsmen.”

It is absolutely unacceptable to honour the killer Buhari with the renaming of the Second Niger Bridge. It is imperative that a prestigious Igbo name be given to the bridge. If there is a project in the North that is named after an Igbo individual, the politicians from the Eastern states should notify us about it. Our political leaders need to cease being political stooges for the Fulani Arewa and stop acting like cowards. They are bringing shame on the culture of the Ndigbo people, who never prostrate themselves before another person and instead worship only Chukwu Okike Abiama (God Almighty).

“The IPOB continues to insist that the second Niger Bridge should be given a different name. If the lawmakers from the Eastern part of the country can’t think of a respectable Biafran name for the second Niger bridge, the existing name of the Onitsha Head Bridge should be kept.
