No fewer than 81 suspects were reportedly arrested by the authorities of the Nigerian Police Force, Sokoto State Command, for various offences during the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest on Thursday.
The spokesman of the command, ASP Ahmed Rufai, disclosed this while speaking with our correspondent on Thursday night.
Rufai said those arrested were allegedly disguised under the peaceful protest to perpetrate various criminal activities.
He, however, promised to make details of the information about the arrest known in a press statement.
