The commander of the US Marine Battalion, who posted a furious video rant hammering President Joe Bidden to take over Kabul from the Taliban, was relieved of his command.

On Friday, the commander of the naval battalion Stuart Scheller posted a Facebook video one day after the bombing at Kabul, which resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. servants and hundreds of Afghan civilians.

In the video, Scheller expressed dissatisfaction with the US military’s departure from Afghanistan.

He also reproached the senior officers who supervised the mission.

“I am making this video because I am increasingly unhappy and disdainful of my perceived foreign policy ineptitudes, and I specifically want to ask a few of my top leaders questions,” he said.

“What you trust can only be defined by what you are prepared to risk. So if I am ready to risk my current battalion commander’s seat, my retirement, the stability of my family to say a few things I want to say.

When accused, she stated that she had bilked Bilikisu Olabisi out of the money, with the promise to deliver “spiritual oil” for the washing and cleaning of US dollar bills.

In the incident with the “Cotonou Boat”, the helicopter found an illegal oil bunkerers’ boat commonly referred to as “Cotonou Boat”. Recent tests conducted on a yacht, which was escorted by two speedboats, have revealed that large drums containing suspected illegally refined oil products were being transported in the Channel in the direction of OPDS patrol boats. As soon as the boat came into view, warning shots were fired to prevent the crew from making hostile moves. The helicopter and boat fired back at each other, and the battle commenced.

The two-boat convoy detached from the main group and took off at high speed. They left the neutralized “Cotonou Boat” behind. Following the 2 speedboats, the helicopter was unable to follow it. The search for the suspects continues, and a manhunt has been ordered to find them.

Biafra: Go after bandits, not IPOB, ESN: Anglican Bishop tells Buhari’s government to target criminals instead of IPOB and ESN

0

A Diocese Bishop in Anambra State, the Rt. Rev. Ndubisi Obi has recommended that the federal government allocate more effort in capturing bandit gangs rather than combatting the Biafra-based Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Eastern Security Network, ESN.

Bishop Obi expressed disappointment that the Federal Government was using its arsenals against protesters, while not caring about bandits who were completely unaccountable.

Speaking at a press conference in front of the Bishop’s Court on issues that affect the nation, he spoke.

Additionally, in an effort to broaden Anglophone Anambra’s ecumenical Catholic Communion Synod, St. James’ Episcopal Church in the town of Ichi, Ekwusigo District, will host the session starting on September 2.

Instead of solving problems, the government officials created many more of them.

Obi suggested that the government do everything it could to stem the agitation in order to stop it.

When it comes to agitation, the lack of sensitivity on the part of the current government is what contributes to it. They do the wrong ones instead of doing the right ones.

The Church, therefore, has no choice but to make recommendations about what government should do to end the agitation.

Let’s just take a look at how the government is handling cybersecurity threats in this country. I keep wondering why the military should be sent in to pursue the IPOB and its affiliate, the ESN, in Imo State when bandits in the north of Nigeria abducts students and children of school and college age with impunity. Sometimes they have more than 100 people, and they are all gathered into the forest where they are held for ransom. He explained that bandits commit these crimes, but instead of being pursued, all efforts are devoted to tracking down protesters.

Buhari, meanwhile, insisted that IPOB are thieves and terrorists responsible for acts of terrorism in the southeast.

According to Buhari, those who sympathize with the Biafra secessionist movement are not standing up for the Christian minority as claimed.

No Salah for the first round of World Cup qualifiers kick off in Africa

0

Liverpool and Egypt winger Mohamed Salah will not be in action in Africa during the group stage of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup because of a coronavirus restriction that goes into effect on Wednesday.

Sala is travelling back to his homeland of Egypt from the United Kingdom, which is currently on the UK’s travel “red list,” and would have to quarantine for 10 days if he returns, which would sideline him for four games.

In addition, both the World Football Federation (FIFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have asked Prime Minister Boris Johnson to exempt African footballers participating in the World Cup from having to pay VAT.

While the African group schedule is already delayed three times, other European countries could also be affected as the pandemic wreaks havoc with the entire group schedule.

AFP Sport takes a look at the 10 four-team groups and which countries have a chance of advancing to the next stage of qualification.

Egypt holds the record for the most Africa Cup of Nations victories, having done so a record seven times, but the same cannot be said for their World Cup performances, as they have reached the finals only twice since Africa’s first round of official qualifying began.

Many times we speak of easy groups, and then fail. This was stated by coach Hossam el Badry ahead of the Egyptian national team’s games against Gabon, Libya, and Angola, who will be looking to use their top goal scorer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, against them.

Group G Automatic 2010 entrants are considered to be hosts and South Africa have not made it to a World Cup in the last 20 years. Even though Hugo Broos takes over as the team’s new coach, things are only likely to get worse as the team failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

NASS should pass a counterfeit medical product bill, says NAFDAC

As N50 billion in unacceptable goods are destroyed by the agency in five months

According to NAFDAC, the Counterfeit Medical Products Bill must be passed by the National Assembly as soon as possible so that the nation’s fight against counterfeit medical products can be bolstered.

Meanwhile, the agency has destroyed medicine that is not good for people, expired processed food and cosmetics, and large quantities of assorted miscellaneous goods in the last five months that were worth more than N50 billion.

In a statement to the press, NAFDAC Director-General Prof Mojisola Adeyeye, who made this disclosure yesterday in Abuja, reported that during March, over N1.429.580.683.00 worth of undesirable food and drug products were destroyed in the state capital of Anambra, also known as Awka.

She explained that such dangerous products, each with a market value of N613,300,290, were completely destroyed in Kano, Nigeria, in the same month while the Investigation and Enforcement Agency moved to Gombe in May, where they were busy destroying seized counterfeit and expired medicines, and food items with a total market value of N515,732,587.

Fake and expired medicines and food products worth N2.482 billion, which were seized in the Southwest, were completely destroyed in Shagamu, Ogun State, in the last week, according to Adeyeye.
One of the directors of the NAFDAC urged the courts to implement stiffer penalties for those convicted of illicit drug counterfeiting, expired processed food, and repugnant cosmetics as a means of deterring others from the industry.

Adeyeye says that, in order to make it unattractive, a maximum penalty for offenders should be applied.

In addition to the government and faith-based organizations, she also called on health practitioners, community leaders, and members of the media to continue to educate the public about the harmful effects of not staying away from quacks and food vendors peddling medicine and unhealthy food.

Alarmed by the merchants of death who exist solely to capitalize on human misery, Adeyeye appealed to members of the public to release confidential information that could be used to fight against these individuals.

Taliban: President Biden’s friend, Senator Graham demands impeachment

0

Graham has called for President Joe Biden’s impeachment for the third time.

He called the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying he was “dismissed for 40 years” and was being ignored.

At least 12 US service members were killed in a massive explosion that rocked Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport, wounding many others.

With Graham close to Biden, when President Obama was a Senator and Vice President, demanding impeachment, it is also reported that Biden is demanding it.

Biden’s advisers and detractors indulged in a chorus of angry chatter on Sunday over Afghanistan, but on Sunday morning, Senator Lindsey Graham made a short appearance on CBS’s Face the Nation.

US military forces were tasked with preventing terrorist groups from using Afghanistan as a launching pad for further attacks against American forces, which had resulted in 13 US troops being killed along with an estimated 170 Afghans.

Attempts to degrade ISIS’s will with drone attacks will be ineffective. You must have a continuous, 24-hour contact with the target audience. The finish line is still on the other side of the horizon.

He bears much responsibility for this. I’m sure it is on the way.

To my mind, it is negligent of a soldier to leave over a hundred American civilians behind enemy lines to be used as hostages, abandoning thousands of Afghan civilians who fought alongside us, and allowing the conditions for another 9/11 to continue to worsen.

While Graham was in the Senate, he served as a juror in Trump’s two impeachment trials. He voted against prosecuting him for his investigation into the personal life of Biden in Ukraine and his inflammatory rhetoric that sparked the deadly Capitol Hill riot.

Graham, on CBS, concurred: “Yeah, I believe the commander-in-chief has been derelict in his duties,” He’s not the type of person who is easily persuaded and follows bad advice. I believe he failed to act on good advice.

In other words, this is Joe Biden, just as he always is. He’s been like this for the past 40 years, but as the president, he’s completely changed. He’s not a member of the Senate. He’s not the Vice President. These are the decisions of the Commander-in-Chief. In general, I believe there is a higher level of dereliction of duty than anything you could describe.
