In the Ikeja local government area of Lagos State, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, defeated Bola Tinubu, the APC’s candidate. The state’s capital and Tinubu’s local government are located in Ikeja.

Obi received 30,004 votes, while Tinubu received 21,276. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s nominee, received 2,280 votes to finish third.
