Professor Isa Pantami, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has led the country’s delegation to the Mobile World Congress, MWC 2022, in Barcelona, Spain.
Political leaders, regulators, technology experts, and business executives from around the world gather at the MWC to debate issues and chart a path toward economic recovery and a digitally inclusive society.
The Nigerian Minister met with his counterparts from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Gambia, and representatives from SpaceX on the sidelines of the tech summit.
Partnerships are one of the main drivers of the Digital Economy.
At the present Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy Backbone and Huawei also signed an MOU to improve digital transformation.

Professor Umar Danbatta, Executive Vice Chair of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar, Managing Director of Galaxy Backbone Limited, Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar, and Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, Executive Governor of Borno State, are among the delegation members.
