The Nigerian Government has finally authorised the postings of ambassador-designates to Nigerian missions overseas.
In a press release signed by the permanent secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassador Gabriel Aduda, the posting, which was authorised yesterday by President Muhammadu Buhari, comprised the forty three profession ambassadors and fifty-two non-profession ambassadors.
“With this improvement, the method of requesting Settlement from the possible host nations have commenced”, the statement read in part.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs additionally informed that there might be an induction course for the Ambassador-Designates and their spouses on a date to be introduced shortly.
“The train is to arrange and facilitate the motion of the Envoys to their respective Missions.”
“The countries of the assignment were however not made available by the ministry.”
