In order to guarantee food availability, affordability, and security in the state, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday officially opened the N500 billion Produce For Lagos Off-Take Guarantee Fund.
Also contributing ₦25 billion to the effort was Tolu Elemelu, Chairman of the Elumelu Foundation and Heir Holdings.

The event, according to Bisola Olusanya, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, is the “launch of a bold history-shaping intervention” that aims to reward all stakeholders in the food systems value chain, rewire the food chain, and reconnect rural abandon with urban demand.
