Gov Umahi Suspends Ikwo College Provost, Bursar Over Employment Irregularities

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has suspend­ed the Provost of Ikwo College of Education, Pro­fessor Benedict Mbam, and the College’s Bursar, for embarking on employ­ment of workers without due process.

The Governor directed the Provost and the Bursar to handover to the next in rank with immediate effect.

The Governor who frowned at the development, also nullified all the employ­ment done by the manage­ment of the College from 2019 till date.
