Despite the fact that there have been a number of obstacles in its path, the Presidency has stated that Nigeria Air will be a game changer once it has finally been formally opened.
It is important to keep in mind that Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, has stated that the aircraft for Nigeria Air will arrive in the country on Friday, prior to the start of operations.
Garba Shehu, the presidential spokesman, was quoted as saying that the project will be a game changer at an appearance on Thursday. He specifically mentioned the impact that it will have on international travel.
Shehu stated that the Nigeria Air project was unsuccessful as a result of a court case that was brought out by the domestic Nigerian airline carriers. He emphasized that the dispute has been resolved.
He stated that the Nigerian process has been ongoing for a very extended period of time. The eight years that President Muhammadu Buhari has been in office have not produced a single policy paper on anything that has zigzagged in the same way that Nigerian Air has.
“The matter was brought before the Federal Executive Council on at least seven separate occasions before it was finally dropped.

“Just as everything was ready to go and the airline was about to begin operations, domestic airlines in Nigeria went to court, and they were successful in getting an injunction that says Nigeria Air is not allowed to fly.” Everything was held together until only a week or two ago thanks to this.
Shehu said that a large number of Nigerians stand to gain from the undertaking, even as he heaped praise on the country’s Minister of Aviation for his unwavering commitment to making the airline a reality.
He stated that: “The minister has been unfairly criticized in many different places.” He has been making this effort, along with the entire commitment to put this airline into operation; but, hurdles have been placed on his part every inch of the way, and it wasn’t until a week or two ago that the thing was approved for its resume.
“I don’t blame him. The minister is interested in establishing a new airline as part of his quest to write history. Therefore, it is commendable that he wants to get things moving on Friday, which is in exactly one day from now. It is something that is going to be a game-changer, especially for international travel, and it would definitely be to the relief of Nigerians.
The spokesperson for the President of the United States stated that working together with Ethiopian Airways is in the best interest of the country. He also stated that the government is simply a poor manager of enterprises.
He continued by saying, “This is completely different because previous attempts have been made to use resources from the treasury to run a business. This situation is entirely different.”

“Government is simply incompetent when it comes to managing enterprises. As long as these activities are overseen by the government, we will continue to be unsuccessful.
“This realization is simply the fact that the government of Nigeria would be a minority shareholder in this enterprise,” “it is going to be essentially business run, and that would mean that it would succeed,” “This realization is simply the fact that the government of Nigeria would be a minority shareholder in this enterprise,”
