Following the court order granting a medical leave to the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria IMN, Ibraheem El-Zakzakky, the Department of State Services DSS has indicated that it is ready comply.
In a statement made available to Television Nigerian, spokesman of the Service Peter Afunanya confirmed that it received the order granting El-Zakzakky leave to travel to India for medical treatment.
He said the Service is liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance.
”Conformity with the order is in line with the Service’s avowed commitment to the Rule of Law inherent in a democracy.” He said
