Community members in Enone Federal Constituency have reiterated their call for continuity in leadership, saying the constituency should remain focused on sustaining its developmental progress.
Speaking under the theme, “Forward Ever, Backward Never,” they maintained that Enone Federal Constituency is on the path of progress and should not reverse the gains made in recent years.
According to members of the community, what the constituency needs is continuity, experience, and leadership that delivers. They said Chief Philip Agbese, the Member representing Enone Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has demonstrated capacity in legislative representation, remained committed to grassroots development, and worked to attract opportunities in youth empowerment, education, healthcare, and infrastructure to communities across the constituency.
The community noted that the progress recorded so far should be consolidated rather than interrupted. They expressed confidence that continuity in leadership would provide greater opportunities to attract more federal projects, expand development initiatives, and strengthen representation at the National Assembly.
As political discussions ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum, members of the community said they believe re-electing Chief Philip Agbese would provide an opportunity to build on existing achievements, attract greater federal presence, and further advance the development of Enone Federal Constituency.
They concluded by reaffirming their message that progress is a choice, expressing the view that continuity remains the best path toward a stronger and more prosperous Enone Federal Constituency.
