The arrest and detention of Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), a social media personality and human rights campaigner, prompted several young people to take to the streets of Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, on Monday.
With a variety of signs in hand, the young people called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to free VeryDarkMan right away.
It was stated that the demonstrators, who characterized VDM’s arrest and imprisonment as unlawful, were spotted in the Wuse neighborhood, immediately following the Berger bridge.

The Nigerian Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in the Maitama sector of the country’s capital is where they also promised to carry their protest.

Details will be shared later.
