It is alleged that Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, has been called to the Presidential Villa by President Bola Tinubu.
The President and Tunji-Ojo are scheduled to meet on Tuesday afternoon at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, according to The Nation.
His connection to the purported fraud involving Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, precedes this.
According to reports, the Edu-led ministry gave New New Planet Projects Ltd. an N438 million consulting contract for the National Social Register.
Additionally connected to the business is Tunji-Ojo.
Due to financial irregularities and improper use of public funds, Tinubu suspended Edu on Monday.
