Borno shares foodstuffs to 23,000 households

In accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s plan to guarantee food security throughout the nation, approximately 23,000 households in Baga, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State have received food palliatives.

While distributing the food and non-food items to the recipients, Governor Babagana Zulum said, “Distribution of palliatives is one of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agenda.”

“He (Tinubu) has declared a food security emergency, and the Borno State Government is distributing food to communities in accordance with this goal.

Over 20,000 men and women have received food and non-food items from us today, Zulum claimed.

According to the government, the Monday food distribution in Baga reached 23,000 households total, including 13,000 in the town of Baga itself, 3,500 in the nearby town of Cross Kauwa, and 6,500 in the community of Doro Baga.

Bags of rice, spaghetti, and maize grain were distributed to each of the 23,000 households, and each woman also received a wrapper.
