The Rector of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Arc. Dr. Henry Ojobo, was among dignitaries who attended this year’s Idoma Day Celebration in Abuja.
The event attracted prominent sons and daughters of Idoma land, traditional rulers, government officials and other invited guests, who gathered to celebrate the culture, history and unity of the Idoma people.
Dr. Ojobo’s attendance highlighted the institution’s support for programmes that promote cultural heritage, strengthen community engagement and encourage peaceful coexistence.
The annual celebration provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on the values, traditions and identity of the Idoma nation while exploring ways to promote development within the community.
Benue State Polytechnic said it remains committed to collaborating with relevant stakeholders in advancing education, preserving cultural heritage and contributing to sustainable development across Benue State and Nigeria.
