The results of the governorship election that took place on Saturday have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC. These results cover eight of the local government areas.
Barr. Peter Mbah, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), won four of the eight local government areas (LGs) that were announced on Sunday, and Chijioke Edeoga, the candidate for the Labour Party (LP), also won four, including his Isi-Uzo LG.
