Rochas Okorocha, the former Governor of Imo State and a presidential candidate in the upcoming 2023 general election, has revealed why Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), should resign in order to pursue his presidential ambition.

People naturally love Okorocha because he is detribalized and has sympathy for humanity, according to Okorocha, who said he would persuade Tinubu to step down for him as the party’s presidential candidate in 2023.

At the party’s National Convention on Sunday, Okorocha stated that he and Tinubu are most likely to be the major candidates from Southern Nigeria, adding that 2023 will provide them with an opportunity to make the right decisions.
He, on the other hand, urged Nigerians to make good use of their voter cards, saying that they were worth far more than they thought.

“I know that at the appropriate time, it could be because he’s pushing up in the South-west and I’m in the South-east,” he explained.

“Let’s see how things go between us.” And if that’s the case, I’ll ask him to unwind a little so we can move on to the next section.

“People naturally like me, and I believe it’s because they believe I care, that I love and sympathize with humanity, that I’m detribalized.”

“They think I don’t know what religion or tribe I belong to, whether Muslim, Christian, Igbo or Hausa, Yoruba.” All I see is a human being, and that is what separates me from the pack.’

“Whether it’s for internal democracy or general elections, you must make sure you vote correctly because the voter’s card contains all the information.”

“It’s your children’s education, your health, food on the table, and safety.” As a result, I always tell people that the card in their hands is worth more than N100 million, so don’t sell it for N10,000.”

He went on to say that the convention was lovely and peaceful, and that everyone seemed ecstatic because they were all trying to ensure that the much-anticipated event took place.

He said that while time was not on the party’s side, “we pray that with this exercise coming to a close, we are now sure that we are on track and that the APC is still a great party in spite of its challenges.”

“However, as you know, big party big wahala, it is to be expected, and with President Muhammadu Buhari’s leadership, we are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.”

Okorocha expressed relief that the convention had not been hijacked, adding that doing the right things made things much easier for everyone.

“That is all we have asked for, beautiful internal democracy that is free and fair and allows people to choose who they want.”

“That is the beauty of democracy; anything else is manipulation, and manipulation is bad for democracy.”
