Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the former governor of Nasarawa State, has been elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.

After an aye-and-nay vote, Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State said this at Eagles Square in Abuja, the location of the APC national convention.

The party had previously produced a unity list in which the legislator was designated National Chairman.
