Yahaya Bello, a presidential candidate and governor of Kogi State, has stated that by 2023, he wants to see a Nigeria that works for everyone.
Prof. Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr, the national coordinator of the political support group ‘Got Your Back Nigeria,’ revealed this in a press statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.
Governor Bello, also known as GYB, left Nwaokobia Jnr with many quotable quotes after a three-hour incisive engagement on the way forward for Nigeria, and the reason why he wants to be President of Nigeria in 2023, according to Nwaokobia Jnr.

“Indeed, that intellectual exchange ranged from issues pertaining to insecurity (don’t forget that GYB is practically Nigeria’s best performing Governor in the area of security) to agriculture,” the statement reads (where he has also done profound). His incredible achievements can be seen in a variety of fields, including health care and education. From infrastructure development to human capital development, where his expertise and commitment are unparalleled, as well as other important sectors.
“It is self-evident that the Nigeria of the future must be one in which leaders are held accountable, in which aspiring leaders’ words are scrutinized and documented, in which political operators are forced to be true to what they say on paper, and in which citizens are determined to etch new margins on our corporate canvass.” In so many ways, GYB has stated that if he is elected President in 2023, it will be business as usual.
“He has stated that he will not rest until a new and prosperous Nigeria is established. He has transformed Kogi State into a model of peace and progress, and he believes that Nigeria can thrive under his leadership. Lokoja has become one of Africa’s fastest-growing cities, and the Kogi State-produced Confluence Rice has become one of Nigeria’s best.

“He has stated that Nigeria needs to be reset and repositioned for greatness. Youths and women are at the center of this revolution. GYB believes that in order to restore Nigeria’s greatness, we must approach the situation differently. In the history of our country, he has empowered more youths in the state of Kogi than in any other state. He also leads the continent’s most gender-sensitive government. With GYB, Nigeria must harness the enormous potential of her youth and women to achieve greatness. The new beckons with GYB.
“He has stated that his vision is to build a Nigeria that benefits everyone, regardless of region, religion, ethnicity, or geography.” He has kept his word by transforming a polarized, multi-ethnic, multi-religious, and multi-lingual Kogi State into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood and unity. GYB, despite being a Muslim, was the first Governor of Kogi State to construct a chapel for Christians in the Government House. GYB is cosmopolitan, open-minded, and liberal.
“He has stated that he will be a President who cares about everyone. GYB believes that without a progressive synergy between the old and the young, Nigeria will never emerge from the woods. As a result, he has advocated for mentoring and guiding leadership in a variety of ways. GYB is the grail bearer of the Youth O’clock fervency, and he has not only traveled the length and breadth of the country exhorting young people to rise to the rescue, but he has also urged the elderly to join in the effort to birth and berth a new Nigeria for all. Yes, GYB will be the President who looks out for everyone.
“He has stated unequivocally that a new, prosperous, and viable Nigeria is his unwavering commitment, and I believe him because GYB has demonstrated capacity and competency in so many ways. He has reached out to Nigerians of all political stripes, urging both the young and the old to renew their commitment to the values of justice, brotherhood, and love. He has worked to bring peace to the country and has continued to advocate for leaders who are responsible and responsive. GYB is the young man who is determined, ready, willing, and able to face the numerous challenges that confront our country, and he believes that 2023 is our date with destiny.
“His vision is the vision of every well-intentioned Nigerian, his ambition is to build a working nation, and his unwavering commitment is to restore Nigeria’s greatness.”
