War: British Army Warns Soldiers Who Break Rules To Fight In Ukraine

The British army has warned a “small number” of soldiers who may have traveled to Ukraine to return immediately.

According to a British army spokesperson, those soldiers disobeyed orders not to join Ukrainian forces fighting Russia.

One soldier disobeyed orders and went on leave without leave, possibly to Ukraine, a British Army spokesperson said.

The UK government is actively encouraging their return.

The UK Ministry of Defense warned all soldiers not to travel to Ukraine on Wednesday, adding that anyone who disobeyed the order would be held accountable.

“Until further notice, no Service Personnel may travel to Ukraine. Whether on leave or not, this applies. Personnel traveling to Ukraine will be subject to disciplinary and administrative action.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky called on “citizens of the world” to fight Russia.

Authorities in Ukraine say over 20,000 volunteers and veterans from 52 countries have expressed interest.
