The Integrity group, also known as the G5 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is still active, according to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
The G5 governors, according to Wike, would not divulge their plan prior to the upcoming elections, which will begin on February 25.
He spoke in response to Lee Maeba, the state director of the PDP presidential campaign, who claimed that the G5 was no longer in existence.

The G5 group consists of Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Okezie Ugwuanyi of Enugu.
However, speaking on Tuesday at a campaign kickoff rally for the Ahoada East LGA organized by the Rivers PDP campaign council, Wike claimed the group has stopped speaking in public on a regular basis in order to strategize.
Kelvin Ebiri, Wike’s media assistant, said in a statement: “You people say G5 is dead. We, whom you claimed to be dead, are not concerned, but you, who are alive, are.
“We have not spoken recently, and we are not concerned. Still, you’re concerned. You don’t understand that there are times in politics for talking and times for doing. Action has begun, and today, February 25, is the decisive day.

“Our plans and strategies are always a mystery to you. No matter how much pressure you apply, we won’t reveal our plan. The more you look, the less you see.”
