The Action Peoples Party (APP) has advocated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to change the Bakura country constituency supplementary election in Zamfara State from December 9 to 19. APP Chairman Alhaji Zayyanu Haske made the telephone in a press conference in Gusau on Tuesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that INEC had announced the December 5 by-election as inconclusive, after the cancellation of results in 14 polling units because of over voting.
Haske stated the shifting could allow for good preparation for smooth conduct of the survey. “In actuality, it’s not possible to rectify all of the problems within fourteen days,” he explained.
