‘You Took Me to CBEX, Now I’ve Lost N10 Million’ – Taye Currency Rains Curses on Associates

Taye Adebisi, better known by his stage name Taye Currency, is a musician from Fuji who has taken aim at people who gave him information on the Crypto Bridge Exchange, or CBEX, Ponzi hoax.
According to sources, Currency recently expressed regret for the demise of CBEX, which misled many Nigerians who fell for deceptive claims of large returns through digital investment proposals.
During a stage performance, Currency described his experience in a social media video that went viral, claiming that some of his close friends had told him about the scam.

The artist said that he lost ₦10 million to the Ponzi scheme, adding that he had invested in it because of his associates’ success.

On April 1, Sodiq visited my home and informed me that Brother Muca and Alaba had also received their money, along with some from Lateef, the brand manager, he claimed.
Alaba invested in CBEX with N1.2 million that he had stolen from the stage. In addition, Brother Muca contributed N500,000 for his work fee. The N850,000 that Sodiq was saving in the band was utilized. N1.4M was invested by Lateef.

Latif stated that he collected N600k using N200k, which inspired me. My life was in the open, so I took out the money I had saved from insurance. I put N10 million into CBEX on April 1st, but it all disappeared.
