You Lack Character and Integrity From Birth – Wike Fires Back at Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was informed by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), that it was too late for him to acquire the integrity and character he had been born without.
He claimed that President Olusegun Obasanjo, who he served as Vice President for eight years, knew him better than anyone else.
According to reports, Wike made this statement via his Senior Special Assistant on Social Media and Public Communications, Lere Olayinka.

Olayinka was responding to the Atiku Media Office’s assertion that the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) committee’s choice of its vice presidential candidate for the 2023 election was rejected due to character.
According to Wike’s media aide, Atiku is one Nigerian who is never present among the group of honorable and moral guys. Obasanjo confirmed this in his book My Watch.

According to Olayinka, Wike first turned down Atiku’s invitation to be his running partner because of his unimpressive character and integrity score before he was persuaded. Atiku demonstrated this when he disapproved of the committee the party established to choose his running mate, despite informing everyone that the committee would be bidding on him.

He is now preaching about character and integrity, which he lacks, after his claims that he chose his running partner based on the committee report that ranked Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the former governor of Delta State, as the top candidate were exposed.

It’s funny that the person discussing character is the same Atiku who his boss called a “blatant and shameless liar.”

In his book “My Watch,” Obasanjo stated, for the record, “What I did not know, which came out glaringly later, was his somewhat shadowy parental background, his propensity for corruption, his tendency to disloyalty, his inability to say and stick to the truth all the time, a propensity for poor judgment, his belief and reliance on marabouts, his lack of transparency, his trust in money to buy his way out on all issues, and his readiness to sacrifice morality, integrity, propriety, truth, and national interest for self and selfish interest.”

“Atiku hasn’t refuted his boss’s remarks against him as of yet.

“Wike does not conceal or pretend where he stands on issues, in contrast to Atiku. He is not the type to tweet on important topics and then quickly remove it. He made no false claims about where he would stand in the 2023 election, and he will not make any false claims about where he would stand in 2027.

“Atiku should start being honest and trustworthy, especially now that he is older, because being president shouldn’t be about desperate measures.”

Promotion
