The United States of America is now considering supplying NATO allies with air defense systems.
This is due to Russia’s constant threat and growing concern as the war in Ukraine continues.
According to CNN, the United States is considering supplying NATO allies in Eastern Europe with critical air defense systems.

Russian missiles or aircraft could be launched against the alliance’s eastern flank, according to fears.
According to CNN, the official stated, “The US is considering a range of capabilities.”
The official stated that there is no specific plan in place to carry this out at this time, but that the idea stems from concerns that Russian missiles or aircraft may attack targets inside NATO territory on purpose at some point.
According to him, there is a good chance that Russian President Vladimir Putin will decide to attack those countries in retaliation for their support for Ukraine.
He also expressed concern that air defense be made readily available in the event that Russia inadvertently enters NATO airspace.

According to him, the Patriot and THAAD are the most likely systems that America will deploy (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense).
The system has been successfully used to help shoot down incoming ballistic missiles in the Middle East.
