Two suspects in relation to their uncle’s alleged murder have been remanded in jail custody by an Ilorin, Kwara State, magistrate’s court.
They are Idris and Musa Aliyu, who live in Kaiama in the State’s Kaiama Local Government.
A police report said that the suspects killed their 54-year-old uncle, Muhammad Abubakar.
According to reports, when the father of the two suspects went home, he found his younger brother’s lifeless body.
The two accused were charged by the Kwara State police command in front of the state capital’s magistrate’s court in Ilorin.
Gbenga Ayeni, the police prosecutor, pleaded with the judge to place the suspects under arrest while the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
Trial Magistrate A.A. Isah postponed the case until November 1, 2023 and remanded the suspects.
