According to Daniel Bwala, a presidential advisor, nearly every member of the opposition parties would eventually join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
When Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his predecessor Ifeanyi Okowa defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC, the presidential adviser said he was thrilled.
Bwala also said that a past presidential contender would join the APC in the 2023 election.
“Almost all opposition members are coming, including a former vice presidential candidate in the 2023 election,” he said.

Bwala also called the alliance supported by Nasir El-Rufai and Atiku Abubakar a “coalition of confusing confusion.”
There are just two political parties in Nigeria, he pointed out.
“A coalition of perplexing confusion; Una has yet to see anything,” he remarked. Another past presidential contender is getting more interested in running for president in 2023.
“On X,” he said, “there are only two political parties in Nigeria: APC and others.”
