Tinubu’s Administration Failing on Security – Sowore Raises Alarm Over Expanding Terrorist Control

The administration of President Bola Tinubu has come under fire from well-known Nigerian activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore for the ongoing security problem in the country.
He mentioned a recent terrorist assault in a video clip that went viral in a post on his X account.
He criticized Tinubu’s administration for being ineffectual and warned that if the problem is allowed to worsen, other areas of the nation could come under terrorist control.

He claims that the nation does not yet have a clear leadership direction to address the security issues.

According to his post, “Nigeria’s security situation has drastically worsened under the corrupt and ineffectual @officialABAT regime, raising the possibility that more significant areas of Nigeria could come under terrorist control, as has been the case in Syria.”

At the moment, Nigeria lacks a clear leadership orientation. “#RevolutionNow.”

According to Sowore, Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, cannot be considered the opposition.

Speaking on Channels Television, he maintained that Obi has not demonstrated any opposition to the ruling class.

Ahead of the general elections in 2027, Sowore rejected claims that Obi would continue to be the most conspicuous representative of the opposition. He also reaffirmed his long-standing skepticism regarding the political intentions and influence of the former governor of Anambra State.
