Tinubu names NIMASA, NPA directors

For the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), President Bola Tinubu has named a few executive directors.

The Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy is responsible for both agencies.

The Executive Director of Finance and Administration at the Nigerian Ports Authority is Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet, while the Executive Director of Marine and Operations is Engr. Olalekan Badmus. Technical Services’ Executive Director would be Engineer Ibrahim Abba Umar.

Jibril Abba, Mr. Chudi Offodile, Executive Director of Finance and Administration, and Engr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi, Executive Director of Operations, are the three newly appointed executive directors of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency.

After reviewing their impressive resumes, President Tinubu approved the appointments with the firm belief that the new appointees will quickly and effectively carry out their collective mandate to create the conditions necessary to significantly increase the contribution of the Marine and Blue Economy Sector to the country’s GDP, according to a statement released on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President.
