Timaya opens up on remaining unmarried despite his successful career

Despite his professional success, singer Timaya has disclosed why he has not been married.

In a recent interview with Naija FM, he said that he has never desired marriage, saying he has never been attracted to it.

But according to the artist, he didn’t rule out the potential of having second thoughts in the future.

“I’ve never been married, but that may change because marriage is “crazy,” right? I simply ask myself, “Will I be able to leave if I get married today?” Because I dislike stress, I was the one to leave every relationship I had in the past,” he stated.

Timaya clarified that he is hesitant to get married because he wants freedom and doesn’t like stress.

He emphasized the value of open communication in relationships and said he respects openness and truthfulness.

Since I don’t like to go to sleep worrying about things, let’s discuss any issues you may have with me before I die. “I don’t like anything that bothers me,” he continued.

On fatherhood, Timaya revealed that although his kids live with their own mothers, they still have a strong relationship. He also said that while being a parent can be challenging, it can also be fun.

Timaya said that his children frequently come to spend long periods of time with him and that he spends quality time with them.

Timaya emphasized that although they are not romantically involved, they have a respectful and familial relationship with their mothers.
