Aboh Tile was appointed as the state’s auditor general by Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia on Friday.
This was revealed in a statement made in Makurdi, the state capital, by Gov. Alia’s spokesperson, Sir Tersoo Kula.
Prior to his current position, Aboh served as Director of Audit for the State Auditor-General’s Office since 2015.He has an accounting bachelor’s degree from ABU in Zaria, a master’s degree in development studies from Benue State University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Benue State University.
According to the release, “he is a Member of the Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria, an Associate Member of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a Member of the National Accountants of Nigeria.”
The appointment is effective immediately, according to Sir Kula.
He claimed that the new Auditor has been instructed by His Excellency to take possession of all office files and records right now.
