Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has characterized the death of Hon. Adedayo Omolafe, also known as “Expensive,” who represented Akure South/North Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, as “devastating.”

The untimely death of the legislator, according to Akeredolu, was too difficult to take given that he was not ill before to the tragedy in the early hours of Monday.

While praising the late Adedayo as a bright man who died far too soon, Akeredolu said in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, that his death was both a “devastating tragedy” and a “big blow” given by the terrible sting of death.

According to Akeredolu’s statement, the late Adedayo, a former Chairman of Akure North Local Government, was dedicated to serving his people.
