The APC has announced the start date for the sale of forms for Congresses

The ruling All Progressives Congress has announced that it will begin selling registration forms for its national conventions in the near future.
This new development was announced on Sunday by Prof Al-Mustapha Medaner, the organization’s director of research and development.

Medaner stated in a statement that the decision was made in accordance with the approval of the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) led by Governor Mai Mala Buni and the party’s Central Executive Committee.

He went on to say that the purchase of ward congress forms would begin on July 1 and run until July 7 and that the inauguration of the ward and local government congresses, as well as the screening and screening appeals committee, would take place on the 10th of July.

MDeanor also stated that from July 12 to July 16, the screening process for ward positions would be conducted, with congresses and appeals committees being inaugurated on July 19, and ward elections being held on July 24, as well as the screening process for local government positions.

He stated that the party has set a deadline of July 26 to July 29 for hearing appeals from ward congresses.

“The purchase of forms for local government positions will take place from July 26 to July 30, and the screening of aspirants for local government party positions will take place from July 19 to July 26,” Medaner stated in an interview.

The Director of the APC stated that appeals from local government congresses would be considered from August 16 to August 20, according to the director.

From August 23 to August 27, he stated, the sale of application forms for state executive positions would take place, and the inauguration of the screening appeals committee for state executive positions would take place on August 30.

In addition, from September 6 to September 8, aspirants for state executive positions will be subjected to screening, and from September 12 to September 15, aspirants for state executive positions will be subjected to appeals.

On September 18, state congresses will be held, and appeals arising from state congresses will be heard between September 19 and September 21.

The following forms will be available for purchase through this notice: ward chairman – N10,000; ward vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer – N5,000; other offices – N2,000; and other offices – N2,000.

In addition, “the local government chairman receives a salary of N25,000; the local government vice chairman receives a salary of N15,000; and the other offices are compensated with N10,000,” he explained.

Applicants who are female or physically challenged, according to Medaner, will be required to pay half the prescribed fees for each position.
