Terrorists in Chibok release four abducted girls

(Nigeria Television) – On the 31st of January,  – Boko Haram, a terrorist organization, has released four girls who were kidnapped in the Kautikari village of Chibok Local Government Area in Borno State.

Residents in Chibok confirmed the news on Sunday, saying the girls were among the 24 people kidnapped when terrorists attacked Kautikari and other Chibok villages on January 14, 2022.

At least nine residents of Kautikari village were abducted during the attack, according to Nigerian television. The terrorists later released two older women and some children.

THEWILL also learned that insurgents have attacked Kautikari village more than 20 times since 2014, when 276 girls were kidnapped in Chibok.

The village is about 15 kilometers east of Chibok town and is primarily populated by Christians.

Chibok, which is about 150 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, has been subjected to a series of Boko Haram and ISWAP attacks.
