Taraba State APC EXCO fires its chairman

On Saturday, the All Progressive Congress state executive in Taraba removed the party’s state chairman, Hon. Ibrahim El-Sudi.

The state party chairman, Hon. Ibrahim El-Sudi l-Sudi, continued to fan the embers of division and animosity to the detriment of the advancement of the party in the state, according to the apc party’s zonal chairman for the south, Hon. Dauda Ayuba Dakinjo, who briefed journalists in Jalingo.

He insisted that since becoming the party’s chairman, El-Sudi has made all of the decisions by himself.

He emphasized that he always makes his conceited decisions in consultation with a few of his goons, who then carry them out.

He argued that the All Progressive Congress Apc state chapter in Taraba state is now divided and in disarray as a result of that decision.

“His attitude has led to disaffection, mocked Apc, and unnecessary lawsuits.

Don’t forget that the Supreme Court recently ordered that the party’s primary elections for governor and other offices in the state be canceled.

El-inability Sudi’s to compromise and take into account differing interests within the party was a major contributing factor to the problems that eventually led to lawsuits.

Again, the court restored the five local government chairmen who had been fired and replaced by El-Sudi, but El-Sudi has purposefully refused to follow the court’s ruling, he claimed.

He claims that despite the court ruling against El-Sudi regarding the removal of the five chairmen, El-Sudi recently went ahead and allegedly removed two (2) chairmen of the Lau and Jalingo Local Governments, which was a revolt and the same led to a serious tension that threatened security and peace within the entire APC family and supporters in the state.

“With reference to the aforementioned chairmen, we, the entire Taraba state APC Exco, hereby resolved to disassociate our good selves from the unconstitutional manner of removing an elected officer of the Party.

All in all, El-actions Sudi’s to favor some party members over others, as well as his failure to treat all party members equally and on an even playing field, have led to a great deal of dissatisfaction among party supporters.

We voted to remove El-Sudi from his position as the leader of the Taraba State APC due to all the aforementioned transgressions by him and his backwards style of governance.

In order to remove him from office as the APC Chairman Taraba State, we have used the authority granted to us by Article 21(d)(vi) of the APC Constitution, he said.
