Rabiu Kwankwaso allegedly failed to send money he gathered for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) during the 2023 election, according to Sunday Ogini, the party’s former chairman of Ogun State.
Ogini reportedly claimed that Kwankwaso, the party’s former presidential candidate, was to blame for the party’s political turmoil.
The NNPP Chieftain charged the former Kano State Governor with giving preference to his Kwankwasiyya group while ignoring other state residents in an interview with News Central on Monday.
According to the former chairman of the Ogun NNPP, Kwankwaso was extremely corrupt. He questioned his moral character as president of Nigeria.
“He gathered all the funds intended for the nomination forms and moved all the election materials, including the situation rule, to his Maitama home,” he said. At Maitama’s house, he was performing extra subtraction, writing down the names of people he liked and party members he didn’t like, then throwing them away to ensure that only Kwankwasiyya candidates were being elected to office or becoming governors of state or representatives.
“Even prior to the general election in 2023, Kwankwaso and his group were responsible for a number of these horrible acts. He failed to submit any of the funds he had raised, donations, or anything else for the 2023 election party, including auditory reports. We brought him to the EFCC to come and answer questions because the party suggested that we write to the agency. I personally signed the letter.
“This is a very corrupt man who is telling Nigeria that he wants to be the country’s president, rather than going there to answer questions.” He went to a Kano court to defend himself after escaping the EFCC. According to the Kano State High Court, they shouldn’t look into him for that.
Most of these individuals who are posing as leaders in our nation are outlaws. Compared to armed robbers on the road, the majority of them are bad.
