EPL: Saka Renews 4-Year Contract With Arsenal

Arsenal and Bukayo Saka have agreed to terms on a new contract, which will keep Saka with the club through the summer of 2027.

Tuesday marked the day that the Gunners announced the extension of the contract.

The previous agreement that Saka had with the team was set to run out at the conclusion of the following season.

The young player, who is now 21 years old, has been one of the most impressive players for Arsenal over the past two years.

This year, he leads Arsenal in both goals scored and assists with 14, and he led the club in goals scored with 11 a year ago. He has contributed 14 goals and 11 assists across all competitions for Arsenal.
Due to Saka’s outstanding performance for Arsenal this past season, he was also considered for the awards for Premier League Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season.
In making a long-term commitment to the north London club, he follows in the footsteps of Aaron Ramsdale and Gabriel Martinelli.

“I’m just really happy,” Saka said in an interview with the official website for Arsenal.

“I know there has been a lot of talking, and it has been quite some time, but I’m finally here. I believe that this is the appropriate club to join, as well as the appropriate environment to take the next step. Look at this stunning club; just think about where we are.

“Achieving my personal goals is the most important thing to me. It all comes down to how hard I push myself and how much I expect from myself in each and every game, week in and week out. When I get to the practise field, I have all of the right people around me, including my teammates and the coaching staff. My family is another important support system for me.
