Frank Lampard, who is currently serving as interim manager of Chelsea, has indicated that he intends to take some time off once his contract with the club comes to an end.
After his first coaching job at Stamford Bridge ended in failure, the former player for Chelsea was brought back on an interim basis after Graham Potter was relieved of his responsibilities as manager of the club.
However, the Blues were not successful under the former England midfielder and finished in 12th place, which was much further away from the places that qualified for the Champions League than the places that qualified for relegation.
I’m going to take a break because this has been very demanding. I needed to get into that mode because I wasn’t already in it.
Lampard, who was fired from his position as manager of Everton earlier in the current season, stated, “I’ve given it my all; we’ll see what happens.”
After the end of the season, Chelsea had a total of 44 points, which was their lowest total since the 1987–1988 season, when they were demoted.
