South Africa records first case of COVID-19

South Africa has recorded it’s first case of Coronavirus disease.

The victim a 38-year-old South African male who traveled to Italy with his wife as part of a group of 10 who arrived on the 1st of March.

On Tuesday, he visited a general practitioner with symptoms of Coronavirus before going into self-isolation.

At the moment, the patient and attending doctor are self-isolating also a tracer team has been deployed to the KwaZulu Natal province.
