Sheikh Gumi calls Wike a Satanic figure, says Christians cannot be trusted with Nigeria’s security.

According to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, it is risky to put Nigeria’s national security in the hands of Southerners and Christians.

According to the cleric, Muslims appointed to high security positions serve only as symbolic leaders and are not responsible for military command and control.

In a lengthy sermon recorded on video and shared on his official Facebook page, the cleric called Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike “Satan” for hosting the Israeli ambassador to Nigeria in his office. During the sermon, the cleric also declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be removed from office for a period of eight years.

He went on to denounce as worthless hypocrites and money-mongers who chased dollars for worldly gain and pleasure those citizens who diligently campaigned for the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

An excerpt of the sermon translated from Hausa is given below:

“The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory is a devil; I have stated as much before, when he was appointed and there were protests. I haven’t seen it yet, but he went and brought the Israeli ambassador, according to what someone sent. However, his statement that they will work with the Israelis to address Abuja’s security concerns is verified. Now that Abuja is an extension of Tel Aviv, they will kill us and claim that anyone with a beard like us is Bin Laden.

“Who are the people who were involved in the Muslim-Muslim ticket? The worthless and the hypocrites. Security is the people’s last line of defence, and Abuja is starting to resemble Tel Aviv. Did you miss the silence? They are skilled at what they do. A leader of the Miyetti Allah came to me and advised me to leave it alone if they approached me with a proposal to negotiate with bandits.

It is a ruse. What does it mean that the heads of the Ministry of Defence are Muslims? Are we the ones with the guns and the gunslingers, the real Command and Control people? They are playing us; we are not the ones. An agenda is in place. They have taken control of all financial and economic resources, and they intend to trick us for four years in order to obtain eight. I hope not, Allah willing.

“I want to be clear: Northerners operating lawfully will not receive one billion naira. Nothing is available to our wealthy people save the people they can trust. They are only trusted because they are following their desires. They will crush anyone whose loyalty they are unsure of in a matter of months.

“They will only appear during election seasons, much like when grain is given to hens.” That’s all if they feed the chickens grains. The answer is to give spaghetti to people; this spaghetti problem is serious. We are in a terrible mess and being duped in this country.

During Buhari’s presidency, there was a Reverend or Bishop who told me that Muslims had taken over the political system. I assured him that I was fine, knowing full well that the Chief of Army Staff would not try to harm me. He won’t work with some people to attack me, even if he won’t defend me. Our own personnel, whether they work for the Department of State Services (DSS), the military, or the police, will not be used against me or against you because you are a Christian.

“I want you to understand the distinction. They will try to hurt you if you give them weapons and power. I’ll give you some instances: Sardauna was no longer a Premier? Who took his life? With the guns you gave them, Nzeogwu killed him. Who took Muhammad’s (Murtala) life? Dimka, the Northerner. What was Babangida’s rating? He got away with his whiskers. Who intended to murder him? Gideon Thomas. If you arm them with guns, they will murder you. That’s all once you grant them authority.

“Alieyu Masruhi, a Tanzanian, has long maintained that no society can grant authority without first imposing certain requirements. Do you agree, he asked, that if it becomes inevitable that we will give up power, we must make sure that, among other things, security is under our control? However, how can you give up control and then run away?

“We have seen the signs; if Israelis invade this country, there will be a covert operation against any vocal Islamic cleric. What caused Sheikh Jaafar’s death? Why did they kill Sheikh Albany, may his soul rest in peace? We’ve known for a while that they have a hit list, as you can see from how they are killing.

“Why am I accompanying the police on foot? I disagree with the police, but you didn’t see me with them when Buhari was in office. We requested police protection due to this threat, and we were granted it. The President must provide me with police protection even if he doesn’t like me, or else he will be held accountable for my death.

“They are going to introduce the MOSSAD into our nation, so please comprehend.” Tinubu has to make a decision, so he should be aware that we are aware of their plan. If he doesn’t remove the Abuja Minister, we will run into him. The navel is visible on the day of the bath.

“Permit me to tell you about the events that transpired under President (Goodluck) Jonathan. One day, we attended a meeting at the DSS headquarters where we got to know an officer who was familiar with my police detail. He called us one day and gave us the Mercedes 4matic’s number. If there has ever been a Muslim assassin in Nigeria, they will have limited the advancement of our people’s military careers. We will give up and they won’t be trusted to advance if they reach the rank of Captain. How about them, though? None, not one, not two, not three of our leaders were killed. They will kill and they will keep killing our people as long as you give them power.

“I immediately notified the police commissioner and shared on Facebook after the DSS agent revealed the plan to assassinate me. Then he heard them say that since the operation had been leaked, it should be cancelled. They later claimed that the leaker was inside their workspace. He was taken into custody for two months and only made it out by luck. After two months, he came to my house to tell me everything that had happened to him and how, by God’s grace, he had survived.

“I was working with a projector one day during Ramadan, so I put the kids in the car and they drove to the mosque ahead of me. We heard the sound of a bomb going off after the car left the house. I requested that photos be taken of the scene. Bees attacked there, but only two people survived—they were bound and armed with pistols, so even if the bomb didn’t kill us, they would have used the weapon to take us out. The bomb explosion claimed the life of the third person travelling from Ungwan Shanu.

“We then carried on with our research. There were three fatalities. I would like to thank Governor Ramalan Yero for continuing the Ramadan study at that time, if you recall. Upon my arrival home, I was greeted by the correspondents from Voice of America and BBC Hausa. They informed me that although they had gone to the scene to gather information and photograph the actual Boko Haram, the troops had cordoned off the area and made them remove the photos they had taken. “You are saying we should delete their pictures? We are trying to know Boko Haram and we have found Boko Haram in action,” they said to me.

“The attackers’ dead bodies were hastily removed in a military vehicle and made to vanish. When reporters from Daily Trust approached me, I told them the tale. They then went to One Division Nigerian Army, which informed them that they were unaware that soldiers had taken the two people’s dead bodies. Abruptly, a Muslim employee of the mortuary at the 44 Nigerian Army Hospital arrived and announced that the two deceased bodies had been placed there and, based on their appearance, were from the South.

“These attacks are being carried out by the military; they are the ones that attacked in Jaji to prevent Major General MD Isa from taking over as Chief of Army Staff. We are all targets because they killed General Shuwa as well.

“Because God exists, I am telling you people to be wise and not fools. These Muslim politicians in our country have no interest in serving the people; all they want is money for vacations and medical expenses. They are aiming for us, and I told the pastor/bishop that if we Muslims control the security agencies and we ourselves are the heads of those agencies, we will not murder you; but, if we give you Christians control over those security agencies and you are the heads of your unbelievers, they will plot my murder, and I have proof.

“Sardauna, Tafawa Balewa, and Murtala were all killed by them. Tell me who among your own was killed by them; they killed our people. I posed this question to him. However, they were yelling and making noise about Buhari’s nepotism. Yes, but since we don’t do evil, it doesn’t matter. But these people will not aid you; instead, they will do evil, which is why we advise against giving them power.
