Shehu Sani, a social activist, has reacted to the assassination of eight Northerners at the Abia cattle market.
Sani urged the Abia State Government to pursue those responsible for the deaths.

The government, according to the former Kaduna Central Senator, should compensate the deceased’s family.
The former lawmaker stated in a tweet that every Nigerian has the right to live anywhere in the country.
“The heinous murder of eight people in the Abia cattle market is unequivocally condemned.”
“The Govt. of Abia State must ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice and the families of the deceased compensated.

“Every Nigerian has the right to live in any part of Nigeria,” he tweeted.
Recall that hoodlums recently attacked the new Abia cattle market in Omuma Uzo, Ukwa West Council Area, killed traders, mostly northerners and slaughtered their cows.
