“Shame on All of You” – Israel’s Netanyahu Attacks UNGA Leaders on Palestine Issue

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was filled with jeers on Friday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized nations that had just voted to recognize Palestine as a state.
During his speech, Netanyahu reportedly denounced nations that have chosen to accept Palestinian independence, calling their actions “shameful, sheer madness, and insane.”

Such measures, he contended, would only give terrorism more confidence worldwide.

However, his remarks caused some audience members to disagree, leading to a walkout by several of the delegates. The protest went on until a UN representative had to request silence before the Israeli prime minister could continue.

According to Netanyahu, acknowledging Palestinian statehood would be equivalent to supporting terrorism against Jews and innocent people everywhere.

After Hamas’ October 7 attack, Netanyahu likened the quest for Palestinian statehood to the offer made to al Qaeda for a state close to New York City following the September 11 attacks.

Israel would not permit countries to “shove a terror state” down their throats, Netanyahu declared.

“Terrorism against Jews and innocent people worldwide will be encouraged by your shameful choice. It will be a disgrace to all of you.

Intolerant zealots who carried out and encouraged the Sabbath massacre are receiving the ultimate reward as a result of your actions.

“It would be equivalent to giving al Qaeda a state one mile from New York City after September 11 if the Palestinians were granted a state one mile from Jerusalem after October 7.”

Because you lack the will to confront hostile media and antisemitic mobs calling for Israel’s blood, he declared, “We will not commit national suicide.”

World leaders are being influenced by “biased media, radical Islamist constituencies, and anti-Semitic mobs,” the Israeli prime minister continued, denouncing the war in Gaza.
