Philip Aduda, a former senator from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will serve as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee in Kogi State.

The 14-person committee was authorised by the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) following lengthy talks with the Kogi State Stakeholders, according to a release signed by the party’s national organising secretary, Honourable Umar Bature.

After the time of the then-elected State Working Committee expires, the committee “shall manage our party’s business in the state,” according to Bature.

The chairman will be Senator Aduda, while the secretary will be Hon. George Daika. Other members are Chief Dayo Akande, Hon Siyaka Uchunaye, Paul Ukwenya, Hon Gbenga Olorunnipa, Hon MO Sule, and Hon Joshua Adejoh. Members include Audu Idris, Hon. Sheidu O Abara, Bilkisu Onusagba, Abiola Olajubu, and Grace Atawodi.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall of the Wadata Plaza Headquarters in Abuja is about to host the Committee’s inauguration.
