The club has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the number seven shirt when he returns to Manchester United, taking it from current holder Edison Cavani.
On transfer deadline day, the 36-year-old completed a sensational return to Manchester United, joining on a two-year deal from Juventus.
Ronaldo wore the number seven shirt during his first six seasons at Old Trafford.

Edinson Cavani will now wear the number 21 for Manchester United, according to the club.
However, there was no mention of whether the Premier League had granted special permission to complete the switch after the start of the domestic season.
