The House of Representatives Committee on Health Services on Sunday questioned the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control about the N1.2 billion proposed in its 2022 budget for the purchase of vehicles, information communications technology, and computer systems.

When NAFDAC Director-General Prof Mojisola Adeyeye appeared before the committee to defend the agency’s 2022 budget, the committee questioned the rationale for the massive amounts budgeted for vehicles and ICT equipment, as well as other capital projects.
