Due to injuries, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that Eduardo Camavinga and David Alaba will not play in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.
At the half of their 1-0 victory over Getafe on Thursday, Alaba was substituted out.
He was replaced, incidentally, by Camavinga, who was unable to complete the game.
Camavinga will not be playing this season after suffering “a complete tear of his left adductor tendon,” according to Madrid’s latest confirmation.
With his team playing strong rivals Barcelona this weekend, Ancelotti is facing the possibility of losing his job due to this new double injury setback.
He already lacks Kylian Mbappe, forward, and defenders Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, and Dani Carvajal.
“Camavinga has to be seen [on Thursday], but he and Alaba are having muscle issues, so it’s hard for them to be there on Saturday,” he stated.
